Public parks and swimming pools, public and private fitness clubs, racquetball and tennis clubs, as well as a 45-hole golf course, are just some of the recreational opportunities that Williamsport has to offer. In addition, this area has long been famous as a hunting, fishing, hiking and winter sports mecca. Excellent skiing facilities are available in the immediate vicinity and in the readily accessible Pocono Mountains. Nationally known canoe and kayak races are held locally and the Susquehanna River, right, hosts recreational boating and the popular Hiawatha Riverboat excursions. The west branch of the Susquehanna River was Pennsylvania's 2005 "River of the Year."

As home to Little League Baseball, Williamsport receives international recognition each August when the Little League World Series is held here. Dr. Ambrose and our residents provide medical services for all games in the Series.

In the community, children of all ages find delight in the hands-on Children's Discovery Workshop. Area parents are also active with their children in joining AYSO Soccer, Little League and swim teams, not to mention a variety of Suzuki instrumental talent education programs, dance, theatre and gymnastics classes.
