How long do I have to fast for this test?

Fasting patients should not eat or drink 12 hours prior to testing.

When is a good time to come and have my tests done?

Patients may want to consider coming to the Laboratory between Noon and 6 P.M since we usually have fewer patients during these hours and can serve them more quickly. The busiest hours in the Laboratory are from 7 to 10 A.M. However, fasting patients should come as directed by their doctor.
