Who Are Our Pediatric Patients? | Our Staff

Pediatric patients in our hospital include:

• Inpatients - Babies and children under eighteen years of age who are sick enough that they must stay in the hospital. .
• Pediatric Same Day Services - Children under eighteen years of age who are having an operation or test and are scheduled to go home the same day. .
• KidCare - Children of working parents who are too sick to go to school or daycare and need a sick day care service. (based upon bed availability).

Staff who care for our patients include:

• Registered nurses with special training in the care of infants, children and adolescents. .
• A doctor who is in charge of your child's care. .
• A doctor from the Family Practice Residency Program. .
• Student nurses and paramedics under the supervision of instructors and staff. .
• Other people such as case workers, chaplains, dietitians and case managers.
