Each year the Pennsylvania Department of Health conducts an on-site survey of our Skilled Nursing Unit to determine our compliance with state regulations in regards to meeting the physical, emotional, social and safety needs of our residents. We meet or exceed state regulations, and our facility is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Our staff stays in communication with the Department of Health throughout the year in order to remain informed and educated about advances in each of these areas.

Centers For Medicare and Medicaid Services

The Skilled Nursing Unit at Muncy Valley Hospital has been awarded a Five-Star Overall Quality Rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Nationwide, only 12% of long-term care facilities qualify for this rating. This rating is based on Health Inspections, Quality Measures and Staffing in addition to other criteria.
