Auxiliaries | Leadership Opportunities

Being a member of one of our three hospital auxiliaries affords a stimulating opportunity for social interaction with other dedicated people working together to support our community hospitals. Men and women of all ages participate in rewarding activities, such as supplying teddy bears for the Skilled Nursing Unit at Muncy Valley Hospital or planning receptions for employees. Get involved in a fundraising committee or lend your support by paying annual dues. Either way, your membership is vital to the work of our auxiliaries.

Susquehanna Health auxiliaries include:

• Divine Providence Hospital Auxiliary.
• Muncy Valley Hospital Auxiliary.
• The Williamsport Hospital Auxiliary.

Divine Providence Hospital Auxiliary

Mission: To support Divine Providence Hospital through donations in the form of equipment or capital campaigns. Auxiliary members provide the volunteer hours to make fundraisers successful.

Major fundraisers and projects: Divine Treasures (hospital gift shop), AutumnFest, Lights of Love, Uniform Sales, Jewelry Sales

Monthly meetings: First Monday of each month, except July and December

Muncy Valley Hospital Auxiliary

Mission: To support the services and goals of Muncy Valley Hospital.

President: Vivian Mills, 584-3452.

Major fundraisers and projects: Make Believe Tea, Muncy Valley Hospital Lawn Party, Lights of Love, Uniform Sale, Gift Shop

Monthly meetings: Third Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November, 2 P.M., MVH

The Williamsport Hospital Auxiliary

Mission: To provide financial support and community educational services for The Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center through ways proposed by the Auxiliary and approved by the Hospital Board of Managers.

Co-President: Jane Beachem and Lucile Reynolds.

Major fundraisers and projects: The Gift Box (gift shop), Baby Pictures, Make Believe Tea, Uniform Sales, Jewelry Sales, Lights of Love

Monthly meeting: Second Monday, 10 A.M., The Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center (Only Sept, Nov, Jan, March, May)

Opportunities for development of leadership skills are offered through positions of responsibility within each organization. State and regional meetings give members the opportunity to network, share ideas and make leadership roles challenging and satisfying.

Susquehanna Health auxiliaries are members of the Pennsylvania Association of Hospital Auxiliaries (PAHA) and participate in activities of the Central Region Association (a geographical division of PAHA).
