Everyone teaches here, attendings, specialists, senior residents, junior residents, nurses, respiratory therapists or pharmacists. At any hour of the day or night, any team member is ready to stop to help refine my knowledge, as I am to help them. We get good, constructive feedback from our fellow residents and attendings that helps polish our skills and techniques. It is a learning environment like no other. |

Osteopathic Education 
The Williamsport Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is a dually accredited residency program offering comprehensive education for both allopathic and osteopathic residents. In fact, our program integrates the two professions from day one, making it a pleasant working environment with equal opportunities to excel, while at the same time allowing osteopathic residents to enhance their manipulation skills and maintain a unique identity among peers. Since 1974 our allopathic residency has been committed to providing outstanding training in family medicine. With its high standards of education and nurturing environment, the allopathic residency has grown to become one of the premiere family medicine residency programs in the northeast region. This same commitment to resident education is now being offered to osteopathic physicians, creating an osteopathic program that shines among the rest. Our goal is to provide an environment in which osteopathic residents can develop to their fullest potential. |
