Injury Clinic

Orthopedists, certified athletic trainers and physical therapists attend to the injured athlete using the latest techniques in evaluation of musculoskeletal problems, rehabilitation and exercise instruction. Our multidisciplinary approach allows for patient goals and individual treatment plans to be accomplished quickly and effectively.

Orthopedic surgeons are available for appointments Monday-Thurday in The Sports Medicine Center at Divine Providence Hospital, to diagnose and establish a treatment plan for injured individuals.

Sports Physical Therapy

Physical therapists use various techniques to stretch and strengthen muscles, challenge balancing skills, test coordination, teach home exercise programs and enhance mobility skills.

Orthotics

Prescription orthotics are shoe inserts that are custom made to correct individual foot problems. Faulty mechanics or misalignments in the lower extremity can lead to a significant amount of discomfort. A detailed biomechanical evaluation can provide the information needed to correct even the smallest dysfunction.

The Sports Medicine Center offers a variety of off-the-shelf brace products such as braces for:

Many braces are in stock, however we can special order any brace, usually within three working days. We can also fit and order custom braces too.
