Body Contouring

Tone and tighten problem areas with our full range of body contouring procedures.

Arm Lift

If you wish to improve definition and get rid of saggy skin hanging from your upper arm, then you should consider this procedure.

An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, is a procedure performed to reduce the amount of excess skin and fat spanning from the underarm to the elbow.

Procedural steps: Incisions are made underneath the inner upper arm area then excess skin is removed.

Your results: After surgery, recovery will take four to six weeks. Incisions may take up to one year to fully mature.

Liposuction

If you’ve tried diets and exercise but haven’t achieved the lean look you desire, then liposuction may be the key to your success.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure intended to remove fat deposits and shape the body. Liposuction may be performed on the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms, buttocks, back or neck. A liposuction procedure may include more than one site at a time.

Procedural techniques: Small incisions are made then tubes are inserted into the cuts. The tubes connect to a machine that sucks out fat from under your skin. You can be awake or asleep while this is going on.

Your results: You are likely to be up and around quickly.

Post Weight Loss Body Contouring

After drastic weight loss, body-contouring surgery is used to remove excess skin and fat. This procedure can help you get the look you've been working so hard to achieve.

Procedural Steps: Body contouring after major weight loss may involve several types of procedures, depending on the patient’s condition and desired results. For more information about specific body contouring procedures, please go to arm lift, body lift, breast lift and thigh/buttock lift.

Your Results: Results and recovery time depend on cosmetic procedures performed.

Thigh/Buttock Lift

If a healthy diet and exercise are not giving you the sculpted lower body you want, then a lift is another option.

thigh lift

A thigh lift sculpts and removes excess fat and skin from the inside of the upper legs.

Buttock Lift

A buttocks lift is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fatty tissue from the hips, outer thighs, back and buttocks. There are a variety of different techniques used by a plastic surgeon for a buttocks lift.

Procedural steps: For a thigh lift, an incision is made in the inner thigh and excess skin and fat are removed.

Buttock lift - Liposuction is often performed in addition to a lift.

Your results: After surgery, sitting may be uncomfortable. Recovery will take four to six weeks and incisions may take up to one year to fully heal.

Tummy Tuck

If sit-ups and other exercises aren’t giving you the flat stomach you desire, then abdominoplasty, often called a tummy tuck, might be the key.

A tummy tuck, removes excess fat and skin to give the abdomen a flatter, tighter look. A tummy tuck also may be used to restore weak or separated stomach muscles.

Procedural Steps: There are two options for tummy tucks―complete abdominoplasty and partial or mini abdominoplasty.

Complete abdominoplasty is performed on patients that require the most correction. First, a horizontal incision is made low, below the navel. Then the excess fat and skin is surgically removed.

mini abdominoplasty is best for patients with localized fat deposits. The incision for this procedure is smaller than would be necessary for a complete abdominoplasty. Liposuction may be used for this procedure if excess fat is the only issue.

Your Results: Two to four weeks after surgery you will begin to notice results. Full results could appear as early as eight weeks and incision lines will continue to fade for up to one year.
