Susquehanna Health Foundation Raises $30,350 from Drive for a Cause

Car dealerships throughout northcentral Pennsylvania teamed up with Susquehanna Health Foundation to raise $30,350 to support breast health. During the month of October, dealerships participated in Drive for a Cause and donated $25 for every new or used car sold to UPMC Susquehanna’s Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center.

“Many people are affected, directly or indirectly, by breast cancer,” says Sherry Watts, vice president of development, Susquehanna Health Foundation. “Detection is the best tool in the fight against breast cancer. The funds from Drive for a Cause will support UPMC Susquehanna’s goal to offer 3D mammography at all our imaging locations which will improve our detection rates for women, especially those with dense breast.”
