UPMC Susquehanna Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness with $55 Mammograms
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, UPMC Susquehanna will offer $55 mammograms to women with limited or no insurance coverage and no prior history of breast disease.
“A regular mammogram could save your life or the life of someone you love,” says Brenda Terry-Manchester, director of Breast Health Services at UPMC Susquehanna. “In its early stages, breast cancer is at its most treatable, and mammography is one of the best tools available for determining breast health, cancer risks, and detecting abnormalities early.”
These screenings will be offered on a first come, first served basis, and appointments are necessary. Appointments can be made by calling the phone number of the location you wish to have your mammogram. Mammograms must be paid by cash or check. Be sure to mention $55 Mammograms when scheduling your appointment.
