UPMC Susquehanna Welcomes New Neurosurgeon

UPMC Susquehanna welcomes neurosurgeon Georgios Klironomos, MD, MSc, PhD, to the Neurosciences team.

Dr. Klironomos earned his medical degree from University of Patras, Greece, where he also completed his residency in neurosurgery. He completed fellowship trainings in neuro-oncology, cerebrovascular surgery, and skull base/endoscopic scull base neurosurgery at the University of Toronto and Lenox Hill Hospital, New York.

“UPMC Susquehanna is pleased to welcome Dr. Klironomos to our team of neurosurgeons,” said Tom Hoy, DPT, executive director of Neuroscience and Rehabilitation Services at UPMC Susquehanna. “His specialty training and experience build upon the tradition of excellence established by Drs. Rodwan Rajjoub and Hani Tuffaha in the Williamsport area, bringing a new level of innovative care to the region.”

Dr. Klironomos will see patients at the Neuroscience Center at UPMC Williamsport located on the third floor of the Health Innovation Center, 740 High Street, Williamsport.
