Take Advantage of Our Discount Screening Program for Breast Cancer in Williamsport, PA, Muncy, PA and Wellsboro, PA
UPMC Susquehanna offers a prepaid, low-cost mammogram to women 40 years or older who have no current symptoms of breast disease and have no or limited medical insurance to cover a mammogram. This program is offered annually during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
$55 Mammograms are offered on the following dates and locations:
October 7 & 21 - 8 am to noon
Muncy Valley Hospital - 215 East Water St., Muncy
October 14 & 28 - 8 am to noon
Breast Health Center, Divine Providence Hospital - 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport
October 17 - 8 am to 5 pm
Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital - 32 Central Ave., Wellsboro
Appointment are limited and can be made by calling the phone number at the location you wish to have your mammogram. Be sure to mention $55 Mammograms when scheduling!
Pennsylvania Department of Health HealthyWoman Program
The HealthyWoman Program (HWP) is a free breast and cervical cancer early detection program of the Pennsylvania Department of Health. It is funded by the Department of Health and through a grant the Department receives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
What Services Can I Receive Through the HealthyWoman Program?
Free services for those meeting the eligibility standards include:
- Clinical breast examination
- Pelvic examination and Pap smear
- Education on breast self-exam
- Follow-up diagnostic care for an abnormal result
